Chief Executive Officer
Lesley joined ETOS in 2002 as Treasury Operations Manager, building the company’s best practice operations framework, and is now Chief Executive Officer.
Lesley has wide banking, corporate and stockbroking experience in front, middle and back office functions. She has worked extensively with Australia and New Zealand’s leading treasurers to facilitate and develop their treasury needs, and effectively manage risks and controls to ensure best practice. Lesley works closely with clients to ensure, in conjunction with their own systems, they maximise efficiencies and minimise operational risk.Read MoreBefore joining ETOS, Lesley was with Merrill Lynch (NZ) Limited, working in both a front and middle office capacity as Senior Trader, and in the back office as Treasury Officer.
As Senior Trader her role included the risk management of principal trading and foreign exchange exposures, servicing client transactional requests including settlement requirements and management reporting.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Lesley worked in the treasury department of CLEAR Communications Ltd. Her responsibilities included developing and establishing treasury policies and procedures, daily cashflow management, settlement of foreign exchange and money market transactions, financial reporting, accounting procedures and treasury dealing.
Prior to working at CLEAR Lesley was with NZI Bank in the foreign exchange and interest rate settlements area.
Lesley is a member of INFINZ (Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand) and was on the committee of the FMOA (Financial Markets Operations Association)
Sally is the Marketing Director for ETOS, based in our Sydney office. She spent the first 10 years of her career working for ANZ Investment Bank: initially providing risk management strategies to a portfolio of corporate clients facing exposure to foreign currency and offshore markets, before ultimately becoming responsible for the coordination and implementation of ANZ’s eCommerce global strategy.
Following her time with the ANZ, Sally then moved into sales-focused roles. She first established the Australian and New Zealand business for 360T, the German-based award-winning multi-bank, multi-asset class trading platform.Read MoreThen, Sally went on to work with FIS (formerly SunGard), selling treasury management systems as part of their Corporate Liquidity solutions. She has wide networks and strong relationships with banks, foreign exchange providers, third party vendors, ASX, NZX, large private and multi-national corporates, central banks, state treasuries, asset managers and hedge funds across Australasia.
Sally’s role with ETOS focuses on business development; helping clients to define their needs and identify the best way to increase back office efficiency and reduce operational risk.
Client Relationship Manager – Australia
Jeannie is the Client Relationship Director and heads up the ETOS Australia Pty Ltd Office in Sydney. Jeannie was Director of Operations at a leading financial advisor and back office provider for the past 11 years.
Jeannie has wide banking and corporate experience in front, middle and back office functions gained from over 30 years in financial markets, including Oakvale Capital, IBJ Australia Bank, Advance Bank Ltd and Lloyds Bank Limited. During this time Jeannie has developed a wealth of treasury products knowledge including interest rate, foreign exchange and commodities, plus system development, installation of various banking systems and straight through processing (SWIFT).Read MoreIn previous roles Jeannie worked closely with Australia and New Zealand’s leading treasurers to facilitate and develop their treasury needs, and effectively manage risks and controls to ensure best practice. Whilst in the banking industry, Jeannie was an active member of various working groups, and a board member of ATOA (now AFOA — the Australian Financial Operations Association Limited). Whilst with AFOA, Jeannie worked on issues to promote market standardisation for controlling operational risk.
Richard established ETOS in 2001 after identifying a need for specialised treasury outsourcing services in the New Zealand market.
He has extensive domestic and overseas treasury experience both as a treasury adviser and within the corporate treasury environment.
Before joining ETOS Richard was an Associate Director at Bancorp New Zealand Limited, which he joined in 1996. At Bancorp he serviced a wide range of clients, from large publicly listed companies to local government authorities, providing ongoing independent treasury advice, as well as undertaking a number of one-off treasury assignments.Read MorePrior to working at Bancorp Richard worked in London and Monaco for Gestetner Holdings Plc for five years. He began as the European Treasury Manager based in Monaco where he had responsibility for the treasury operations of the European subsidiaries. He later returned to London as the company’s Assistant Group Treasurer where he assumed overall control of the Group’s treasury risks.
Before leaving for overseas Richard worked for the New Zealand Kiwifruit Marketing Board (now ZESPRI International Limited) as Treasury Executive. Richard is a member of INFINZ ( Institute of Finance Professionals New Zealand)
Mark Gold is Deputy Group Treasurer at Insurance Australia Group (IAG) and brings 25 years of financial market experience in the Asia-Pacific region to the ETOS board. Mark has served on the Board of the IAG and NRMA Superannuation Fund; a $1bn asset fund with almost 20,000 members. Prior to that, Gold was Asia Pacific Treasurer at the global Travelex Group where he managed operations in Australia, NZ and various Asian centres in a culture promoting creativity and innovation.Read MoreA strong proponent of the Treasury outsourcing model, Mark was at the forefront of the team that introduced outsourcing to IAG in 2009. The resulting improvement in treasury product expertise, increased service levels and improved controls were accompanied by a 75-80% cost reduction.
